Interstate Hotels cutting 52 jobs at Comfort Inn near BWI (Biz Journal)
Interstate Hotels & Resorts is laying off 52 employees at a Comfort Inn near
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport while it
completes a renovation of the property. The Arlington, Va.-based company filed
a notice of the layoffs with the state’s labor department on Monday. The hotel
at 6921 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. closed down to guests Nov. 18, said Walter
Conner, vice president of operations for Interstate. A restaurant in the
property will also close Dec. 31, he said...
