What does Marvin Miller have to do to get into baseball's Hall Of Fame?
How is Bowie Kuhn a worthier candidate for induction into baseball's Hall and not Miller (the former Player's Union head who unified the MLBPA back in the 1970s, opening their eyes to the league's owners taking advantage of them)?
Say what you will about the skyrocketing salaries and rapid player movement, but every current Major League Baseball player (as well as those who played from 1974 on) owes a huge "thank you" to Marvin Miller. If not for his efforts (as well as Curt Flood, Andy Messersmith, Dave McNally, Catfish Hunter, and Peter Seitz), there would be no free agency, there would be the archaic reserve clause, and player versus owner acrimony would be at an all-time high.
In other words, will Marvin Miller ever get a shot at being inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame?
